The full hour
Lessons start and finish on time, and pick-up and drop-off happen inside our time, not on top of the hour you paid for.
About us
A driving school for south Manchester and Trafford, built around the learners most schools are not really set up for.
In Bejoy's words
“I've never met anyone who couldn't learn to drive. I've met plenty who were taught badly.”
I set Eddie's up because I wanted a school that taught the way I believe driving should be taught. The thing that makes it work is consistency: the same car, the same voice, the same plan, from your first lesson through to your test. Whoever you start with is who you finish with. Nobody gets passed around mid-course, and you never have to explain yourself twice.
Most of the people who ring us are nervous about something. Being a complete beginner. Being older than they think they should be. Having failed a test before and dreading trying again. Or knowing, often without having the words for it, that a standard driving lesson has never quite matched how their brain does things.
That last group is the reason the school is set up the way it is. If you have ADHD, are autistic, are dyslexic or dyspraxic, or you simply find a normal lesson too much coming at you at once, tell us before we start and we will build the lesson around it. Shorter instructions. One thing at a time. The same route until you decide you want a different one. As much repetition as you want, without anyone sighing about it.
We do not rush anybody towards a test date. A failed test costs you money, weeks of waiting and a great deal of confidence, and I would far rather tell you honestly that you are not ready than take the booking fee.
The school is growing, carefully. I am bringing in instructors who teach the way I do: the same patience, the same standards, the same four promises below. I would rather take a year finding the right person than put my name on a lesson I would not want my own family to sit through.
Lessons are one pupil at a time, in a dual-controlled car, manual or automatic, with free door-to-door pick-up anywhere in the covered area.

The essentials
Whoever you start with is who you finish with. Nobody is handed to someone else halfway through a course.
How we work
Not marketing lines. These are the things pupils tell us they were not given elsewhere.
Lessons start and finish on time, and pick-up and drop-off happen inside our time, not on top of the hour you paid for.
You will not be entered for a test you are not ready to pass. A failed test costs money, weeks of waiting and a lot of confidence.
No sarcasm, and no comments about your age, your nerves or how long you are taking. Dual controls exist so that nobody has to panic.
What is published here is what you pay. No booking fee, no fuel surcharge, no charge for paperwork.
Two minutes on the phone is usually all it takes.
